Gel Nails | Invest in the Right Nail Care Tools

Nail care is important to keep your nails looking healthy, beautiful and presentable. Essential for nail care is a good pedicure and manicure which can make you feel like a million dollars. Caring for your nails has to be done in the right way and with the right equipment and tools, otherwise you risk damaging your or your clients’ nails and may end up with results contrary to your expectations.

There are various nail tools available in the market to make your manicures and pedicure sessions a pleasure and get them done in the right manner. As a professional you should ensure that you have the right kit for nail care with all the appropriate equipment so that your clients are a satisfied lot and keep coming back to you.

You should always invest in high quality nail care equipment so that you do not damage your clients’ nails as well as go through the procedure with ease. Always remember that good equipment ensures great results.

Some important nail care tools that you should be investing in are:

• Finger bowl/foot bowl – for soaking nails before and during the nail cleaning procedure.

• Nail file or emery board and foot file – these come in varied sizes and grits. The higher the number of grits the finer the file is and the lower the number of grits the coarser the file. It is advisable not to use a grit smaller than 240 for the natural nail or for shaping the edge, else you risk damaging the nail. Avoid using over the counter files and boards as the grits are lower and file is coarse. Metal files are also not recommended for their damaging properties to nails. 3 way buffers are a good buy for both shine and finish.

• Nail clippers or Nail cutter – to trim the nails to the desired length.

• Orange stick - Also known as cuticle pusher, it is used to gently clean the enamel and push the cuticle back. A stainless steel cuticle pusher is a wise investment as it allows you to disinfect after each use to keep it bacteria free. It is also available in plastic.

• Cuticle clipper/cutter/scissors - To clip the dead skin from the cuticles.

• Acrylic cutter – For acrylic nails.

• Scissors -  Carrion scissors, pedicure corn cutters, nail scissors

• Brushes – Small horned brushes, big brushes, handle brushes, round brushes to be used for cleaning the surface and underside of the nails with warm soapy water.

• Finger resting stand – For manicures.

• Towels and cotton balls – Towels are needed to soak in all the excess water and clean the dirt during the nail care procedure. It also helps keep the work area clean of bacteria and helps infections from spreading.

Other ancillary equipment you may need to store your nail care tools  are brush cleaning jars, jewellery boxes to hold small nail ornaments, nail wipes, bandages, nail soakers, disposable pedicure slippers – to complete the experience.

Keeping these tools with you differentiates you as a professional of high standards and inspires confidence in your clients to come back to you again and again.

ok so i love to play around with my makeup! i really only use eyeline tho. you got any ways that i can play around with my makeup that look different but not in a ugly way? please tell me if you do and explain how to do it

Well if you mainly use eyeliner, you can always shape your eye differently with using just eyeliner. Your possibilities are endless

For example, you could make cat eyes or make wings at the end of your eye to create a more narrow or longer shape of your eye. Even changing how much eyeliner you put on or where you put it can change a lot. If you make the top a lot thicker, round the edge, and instead of putting it on the bottom waterline, you could put a thin line on your lower lash line giving the image of an 'anime-like' eye.

Random tip, If you use eyeliner and you want it to maintain throughout the day without smearing or wearing off, you can always use a black/dark brown eyeshadow. After lining your eye with the basic shape and size you want with your eyeliner like usual, take an angled brush, put a drop of water or eye drops on either the brush or the eyeshadow and use the angled brush & wet eyeshadow as sort of a liquid liner. After that, wash off the brush, make sure it's dry (or use another angled brush) and then re-line it with dry shadow. This keeps your eyeliner on all day, its great. How a Cosmetic Invisalign Dentist For Sonterra San Antonio TX Was Surprised

I recently made my way around the Sonterra neighborhood in San Antonio, and I was really surprised by how many people I met had really wonderful smiles and almost perfect teeth. And I noticed this, no matter if I was at HEB, Wildfish,Yardley's, or Costco. Now, to be fair, I also noticed some people who were in need of some dental services as well.

So I started wondering about this, being a cosmetic dentist myself for Sonterra area residents, what motivated all these people to get dental care to have such beautiful smiles.

Thinking about this, led me to make a video to show what we do in our office for area residents. You will find a link to it at the bottom of this article.

And I recalled some of the comments and motivations that my patients have told me about over the 30 years since I began practice as a cosmetic dentist.

My patients in the area are to a large extent upper class professionals who are competing for jobs and relationships with other upper class residents and professionals. They've made such comments as, "I want to have a beautiful smile because the people that I meet expect me to look my best."

"I want to be more self confident so I can get the best of what life has to offer for me, and also help my family and others along the way."

"I want to get recognized for a job promotion or start a new relationship with someone and I want to look my best."

"I want to be happy, with a happy smile, and make others happy - especially my children and grandchildren."

Well it has been said that people are most concerned about their friends and family, money, and their careers. So this made sense to me and why the people I saw had these beautiful smiles.

I'll let you in on a little secret - as a dentist, when I see anyone, I naturally look at their teeth and their smiles. I've been doing it for so long now, it's just become second nature to me. And I always think to myself - How could I make a better smile for that person?

Well over the years, I have always wanted to make smiles better to give people more self confidence, give them a better appearance when they smile, and hopefully, by giving them a better smile, assist them toward achieving their life goals. To be honest with you, these are the real reasons people get cosmetic dentistry services.

And I never get tired of doing it. In fact I feel rewarded every time I can help someone as a cosmetic dentist for our area residents of the Sonterra neighborhood in San Antonio TX.
