Lawmaker seeks ban on some chemicals in shampoo, makeup, lotions
DENVER - The shampoo, makeup or moisturizer Coloradans are using could contain cancer-causing chemicals, according to a Colorado state lawmaker. Rep. Diane Primavera (D-Broomfield) has introduced House Bill 1248, the Colorado Safe Personal Care Products Act, in an effort to prevent their sale in stores throughout the state.
